St Johns College

St John’s is a thriving co-educational day and boarding school, for ages 2 to 18 (boarding from Year 5), located in the heart of Southsea. The Westgate School Winchester

Rotherly is a Girls’ Boarding House for the Westgate School in Winchester. Rotherly is situated in a pleasant residential area of Winchester and is within easy reach of both the railway station and city centre. The Westgate is a maintained school, so Rotherly House has the great advantage of charging fees for boarding only. This means that tuition is free at a school that is high achieving and has excellent OFSTED reports. There is a boarding house for boys 11-16 located within a mile at Kings School. Peter Symonds 6th Form College is less than a mile from Rotherly. Girls can apply to board at Peter Symonds after year 11 or ask to remain at Rotherly, whilst completing 6th form education.
