Former RAF Reservist Nick Patrick takes his first space walk as he makes vital repairs to the International Space Station 250 miles above the earth.
Nick who learnt to fly with the Cambridge University Air Squadron and signed up as a RAF Reservist blasted off on a 13-day mission on board Space Shuttle Endeavour earlier this month.
The RAF encouraged my love of flying. I have them to thank.
