STOTT PILATES Intensive Mat-Plus and Reformer courses also qualify for the register of exercise professionals (REPs) continuing education points and the STOTT PILATES Mat-Plus certification can lead to a National Qualification in Pilates Matwork Level which gives you access to Level 3 on the REPs register.
Intensive Mat-Plus (IMP) Course
IMP provides you with the solid foundation and skills you need to develop effective and motivating personal training programmes. This course teaches you to design and teach the Level 1 (Essential and Intermediate) STOTT PILATES® Matwork repertoire, integrating light equipment to meet the specific needs of your clients.

Intensive Reformer (IR) Course
This course teaches you how to design and instruct Level 1 (Essential and Intermediate) STOTT PILATES Reformer workouts in a personal training and group setting for a range of clients. While IR may be taken prior to IMP, we recommend completing IMP first.

You can choose to train in Reformer first, but the usual route is to become a matwork instructor first and then progress through to Reformer and beyond to additional equipment and injury and special populations courses. There is also over 150 different STOTT PILATES workshops to choose from for on-going education and additional programming ideas for your clients.
Training can be completed in 2-week blocks or split into weekend modules and there are studios in Oxford, London and Southampton.
